Our device uses various sensors to collect data on pollution, temperature and humidity. The sensors are controlled by one micro computer (Raspberry Pi) and then the gathered data is transmitted to a central server. This is then organised and made available to the user. The physical devices are enclosed in a plastic box ensuring components are protected from the natural elements and other people.

Over the course of the project there have been some challenges that we have had to overcome as a team. Firstly, due to start of the project being held online, it was more difficult for us to get to know each other and what each members strengths were. However, after discussing in our Microsoft Teams channels, we were able to discover each team members strengths and play to them. This helped make us more productive and work more efficiently.
Another challenge we have faced was during the build stage of the project, in particular when working out how each of the components worked and how we could manipulate the data to make it suit our needs and more importantly how we can make the user experience as smooth as possible.
